Shopify has been a driving force behind Kylie Jenner’s hugely successful cosmetics and merchandise brand. For the first time ever they brought the products offline with a pop-up store at Westfield Topanga in the lead up to Christmas; and again in New York City during Fashion Week.
intandem was hired by Shopify to create this unique retail experience. Kylie has the most viewed account on Snapchat, along with her 88 million followers on Instagram, so it was no surprise that the results and the crowd turn out was incredible. Thousands flocked to the store on a daily basis and over 25,000 people were lucky enough to gain access to this experience in Los Angeles over 14 days, and another 10,000 in New York throughout the 7 days it was open. Kylie was on hand to meet some of her fans on the opening days and her sister Kim even made a surprise appearance in NYC.
