Hi everyone!
I have a friend looking for venue ideas in NYC for a creative offsite for 80 people, the CEO does not want anything that feels like an office setting.
It’s a startup so budget is a constraint but we have flex.
I’d so appreciate your expert help if you have a few mins! Thank you!
Sounds interesting! There are of course tons of cool spaces for this depending on what they’re looking for. One place that came to mind as they are designers is this: https://lavannewyork.com. It’s a smaller art gallery type of venue in Chelsea but they have an immersive presentation room with floor to ceiling projection on each wall so it could be a budget option as the tech is inhouse. There are tons of those art gallery type of venues in Chelsea.
This place might work https://thevendry.com/venue/183784/maxwell-tribeca-new-york-ny
Thank you both!
McKittrick Hotel/Gallow Green Rooftop would be cool
I’m obsessed with the magick show we did as a team activity
How about Neue House?
I’d double check the capacity but would recommend a venue that I’ve used for years now - It’s a hidden gem with restaurant + event space at the back. I, and my attendees/sponsors, love it for corporate meetings! - Piggyback by Pig & Khao
Hi all! I’m looking for a venue in NYC that will hold up to 250 people theatre style. I did this at spring studios last year which was obviously gorgeous but had to bring in own stage, chairs, etc. Looking for something more turnkey yet still well known. Let me know if you can help! :)
NYC friends: I’m hosting a VC annual investor day at Neuehouse oand looking for an addt happy hour venue in Midtown for 55-60 guests on Oct 24🗽 The vibe we’re going for is swanky, non-corporate with options to bring a “food design” caterer + photobooth. Sample venues we’ve looked at: The Ned, Maxwell Social, Fotografiska, Rare Book Room @ the Strand. Thank you!

<!here>, we're kicking off this channel to be a dedicated space to support one another as event tech continues to rapidly evolve. This post on LinkedIn inspired me to ask - are you willing to share your event tech stack with the group here? It might help inspire other members to look into new solutions, or ask for your more specific advice or opinion on tech you currently use. As a reminder, we also have the #ai-for-events channel for those interested.
We are planning some private dining events in NYC and I'm curious if there are any hidden gems of event spaces or private dining rooms (Manhattan) that folks would recommend. Dinners will be about 25 people. We did the last one at Little Owl Townhouse and loved it!!
