Hi all! I’m looking for a venue in NYC that will hold up to 250 people theatre style. I did this at spring studios last year which was obviously gorgeous but had to bring in own stage, chairs, etc. Looking for something more turnkey yet still well known. Let me know if you can help! :)
Moonlight Studios might be a good spot. Is BKLYN an option?
Turnkey for sure at 48 Wall Street
Pier Sixty Collection
Also, Convene. They have multiple locations in the city.
I second Convene
Lavan Chelsea
Or any hotels that could do this? I love convene but looking for fancier
Not a ballroom
Manhattan Center
NeueHouse (cap is 100 i think tho)
LUME studios
SECOND floor
I ran an event at 22 vanderbilt aka Company You Keep and the only downside is they have their own AV and dont have anyone really in house to manage it so its a pain.
It is pretty tho
We are hosting an event at the William Vale in BKLYN this spring. It’s an amazing property.
The Bowery Hotel might have a space that could work?
Tribeca Rooftop
SECOND FLOOR
maybe the times center? https://www.thetimescenter.com/ lmk if i can help with an intro!
I second William Vale!
Glasshouse, if you’ve got a nice budget
@EventPlanner368 @EventPlanner2208 do you have a contact for Second Floor? They have left me on read and I have classed a couple times.
Catering and Events Coordinator
Director of Sales and Marketing
I dont have emails since they were in my previous role email
I spoke to Kevi and she gave me a tour, so she's probably the best one to speak to!
Thank you both!
@EventPlanner196 Times Center is great and already has seats. Town Hall theater may be too big but you could just use the orchestra seating but also comes with in house lighting and A/V tech .
Hi friends, looking for a stylish/cool space for events in a few cities in the US:
• NYC
• Chicago
• Austin
• Los Angeles
Hosting a meet-up with 100pax in each city. Food and Drinks + Tech included. Any recommendations?
Looking for a space in NYC for a product launch event.
100 people
Apple product tech launch look and feel.
Ideally with inhouse AV
I'm looking for a great #NYC (Manhattan) venue for a business conference. The space needs to have: (1) a general session room with stage that can comfortably hold between 200-250 people in classroom- or half-round table format; (2) at least two additional breakout rooms that can hold at least 50 people each in classroom or half-round format, and (3) vendor / sponsor space where they can set up tables and network. The event will be held in late September or early to mid October 2024 for 2 consecutive days (not including a Monday). Might you have an easy way to find options?
Looking for a venue that can fit cocktails for 300, a theater style program with stage for 450 and a dinner for 30. Not looking for large hotels. Have pricing for Convene. Any ideas to host a good program.
Exploring new conference venues in NYC for 800 attendees if anyone knows of a hidden gem.
Glasshouse, Spring Studios, Pier 60 will exceed our budget with their prelim pricing over 300k. (they all mandate a load-in day for conferences)
I'm looking for venues in NY and LA that have space for a half or full day conference for 200-250 people with room for breakouts and production space. We know the usual suspects (Convene, Glasshouse, major hotel chains, etc.) but wondering if there is anything else we may not know of. Bonus if LA venues have outdoor space. Thanks!
Hi all! Our company is looking to host an event in NYC (Manhattan) in October, does anyone have any good locations to host around 80 people. Looking for an event space, no hotels or restaurants
Looking for a NYC venue in Meatpacking or Chelsea to accommodate 150 theater style with a separate lunch and reception space. Natural light is a must. Female owners/affiliation a plus.
Hi NYC event peeps, I’m looking for reco’s for a venue to host a one-day conference that can fit 1,000-2,000 attendees for a keynote, and 4 breakout sessions. Ideally in Manhattan. Obviously we’ve looked at usual suspects like Javits, Marquis, Hilton Midtown, Sheraton Times Sq, Manhattan Center, and Lincoln Center. Any other great candidates I’m missing?
Hi NYC peeps - I'm on the hunt for a venue in either Manhattan or Brooklyn that has built in broadcast capabilities. Our client loves a warehouse vibe but not a lot of AV or broadcast capabilities are going to be built in there. Why built-in? Cost savings -- my hope is that if I find a place that has some of our broadcast needs built in it will save us some money on our overall outside AV costs. I've been in touch with Convene already but would love any suggestions you may have. Thanks!
Hi everyone! Looking for a NYC venue for 125-150 1/2 of panels and then a reception. I'm used to booking bigger spaces in NY, so would love some recs from this group,
Also, I'm going to be in NYC June 26-29, so let me know if you'd like to connect in person! 🙂
NYC friends: I’m hosting a VC annual investor day at Neuehouse oand looking for an addt happy hour venue in Midtown for 55-60 guests on Oct 24🗽 The vibe we’re going for is swanky, non-corporate with options to bring a “food design” caterer + photobooth. Sample venues we’ve looked at: The Ned, Maxwell Social, Fotografiska, Rare Book Room @ the Strand. Thank you!
Hi all — does anyone have reccos of party venues that fit ~900 people? Few notes:
• Targeting Manhattan
• Huge pro if they have in-house catering
• Looking for something more laid back (bar, restaurant) vs a Cipriani/Tao/Capitale. We were at Pier60 this year, which was great, but we like to switch it up 🙂
Appreciate any suggestions, thank you in advance!
Hi All! Anyone have great experience in NY at a non-hotel venue for 300-500 guests? We're hosting keynotes + 1 breakout session and networking reception. Looking for unique venues that aren't hotel conference centers. LMK if anything comes to mind 🙂
@here looking for a great Midtown Manhattan venue with view and rooftop for a corporate 1 day event in July. Preferably two event spaces that can hold 150 people seated. In house AV and catering

Hi everyone!
I have a friend looking for venue ideas in NYC for a creative offsite for 80 people, the CEO does not want anything that feels like an office setting.
It’s a startup so budget is a constraint but we have flex.
I’d so appreciate your expert help if you have a few mins! Thank you!
Does anyone have a direct contact for Convene NYC? I feel like anytime I fill out their form it takes weeks to get back to me.
Hey NY Event Pros! Has anyone ever planned an event at either Pier Sixty or Chelsea Piers (team bonding program)? @Unknown and I are planning our company 2-day All Hands event and are leaning towards those venues. Curious if anyone has anecdotal feedback to share. Thanks!
Anyone know if DC venues for 150 pax similar to Convene? We have been in hotels before but the client liked the all in aspect of Convene in NYC. We have a fixed date and their DC location isn’t available. Thank you!
I am looking for some event venue options in Manhattan - ideally with the capacity of 250-300 people theater style (space for meals) and a minimum of 2 breakout rooms. We prefer not totally raw spaces. Any ideas for me 🙂
Hi colleagues - I'm looking to do a screening for about 150-ish ppl on 11/2 in NYC - in the evening. (This is all last-minute.) I'm looking into a few spaces, but would love to hear from you on what spaces you recommend.
Looking for a venue that can accommodate the following flow:
• A VIP reception (w/ drinks & hors d'oeuvres ) for 40-50 ppl, 40 mins prior to the general call-time
• Screening area would open at the general call-time and wld have drinks and food for the rest of the guests that arrive
• Once we have critical mass in the screening area we'll begin to intro the film and show it
• After the screening well do a talk-back/ Q&A with folx from the film
• Event ends
