Hi all! Looking for a super high-end restaurant in NYC with a private dining room that can accommodate a dinner for about 20-25 ppl. Something in the world of a new/interesting venue with a celeb chef or Michelin star (think Ci Siamo, less Le Bernadin). Midtown would be ideal but open to other areas of Manhattan.
Per Se has been our favorite. Aquavit was great but we preferrer Per Se. Also look into Resident - they host Michelin Chefs in lofts/private spaces in the city
I'm working on my second event with Resident and the first was great! I have a contact if you need!
I LOVE working with resident too. They are great and offer a truly unique experience.
Some of my favorites are: Carbone, Le Pavillon, Daniel, Eleven Madison Park, Philippe Chow, Craft, and Gabriel.
I am doing a restaurant tour this week in NYC... would highly recommend Eleven Madison Park, Bond St, Cosme, or Il Bucco
Hard to see what their capacities are but this is a new super luxe hot spot https://thevendry.com/venue/189647/sartianos-at-the-mercer-new-york-ny
Thank you @EventPlanner963!
Hi everyone !! I’m hoping to find an exclusive and difficult to get into restaurant to host 15-20 clients in NYC. We’ve already done The Polo Bar. Any other recommendations? If you also have a similar style rec for Dallas, Ill take that too :). Thanks!
We are planning some private dining events in NYC and I'm curious if there are any hidden gems of event spaces or private dining rooms (Manhattan) that folks would recommend. Dinners will be about 25 people. We did the last one at Little Owl Townhouse and loved it!!
Hey guys! I’m once again in search of a private dining room for 20 ppl in NYC (Preferably Manhattan). The client is super late with the booking and looking for a trendy, upscalish restaurant (it can be a classic too) to take their clients for a private executive dinner in early December. We have checked the availability and suggested:
-Locanda Verde
-Le Bernardin
-Manhatta
-Don Angie
-Cote
-Gramercy Tavern
-Morandi
-Avra Madison
Open to any ideas and suggestions so thanks in advance! 😊
hi, hi! would love to connect with anyone who has hosted a private dinner at Eleven Madison Park and has any tips/feedback about the space that future events should take into consideration
Hi again! 👋 I am curious if anyone has any NY based restaurants or caterers they'd recommend that are women owned? We are looking to feature 1-2 restaurants/businesses at a happy hour next Thursday for about 60-70 people inclusive of all major dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, etc.) Thanks in advance!
NYC Resident Feedback - I think I remember seeing great reviews about Resident on here. Am I correct this company/experience is excellent? I’m considering them for an event and they seem like a dream for the space, food, service and cost for NYC private events. Thanks!
What are your favorite restaurants in nyc/nomad? Need a reservation for the end of this month for an executive group but on the casual side.
Does anyone have experience using Resident for events in NYC? https://www.meetresident.com/

Hey All - I am looking for a luxury apartment to rent and host an event with ideally two bedrooms where we can host activations. So one large main area (living room) and then 2 bedrooms. Does anyone have any recommendations? Having some issues finding something ideal..
Hello hello! I’m wondering if anyone has a FAVOURITE place to host private dinners, with AV capabilities, for 16-20 people in NYC.
hi everyone! looking to bring a small group for an NYC experience — looking for high luxe activities + a dinner spot. small group — about 10-15, so can be a smaller sapce
I'm looking for a BREAKFAST location in NYC - Columbus Circle neighborhood preferred. Restaurant or hotel bar is perfect -- not a big budget event -- only 30-40 people max.
This is designed to be a networking breakfast with some grab & go options with the option to sit and chat a bit while people are on their way to work.
I've got an ask into Tartinery inside the Shops at Columbus Circle, but any other ideas you may have are welcome (and needed). 🤗
random Q for this group - we are looking to plan a small event for a group of executives. We are looking to do some kind of luxury experience. Has anyone done something similar that they found successful?
Popping in with two questions today. First….. Favorite small private rooms for a lunch in Manhattan (needs to be in Manhattan).
Looking for a loft or residential style space (not a hotel) for a 15-person VIP dinner in NYC. Ideally SoHo/downtown. Must have a useable kitchen for private chef
Hi all. I'm looking for a vendor to help create non-floral centerpieces for an event in NYC. The centerpieces will be made out of toys which are donated after the event. thanks!
Has anyone used a live scribe in New York? I'm looking for something like Scriberia but based in New York / the states more broadly.
I’m working on putting together a template for the team to show to leadership with where we want to show up, investment level, type of event, past KPIs, and any other relevant information.. does anyone have recs on how to do this outside of excel? There’s nothing wrong with tried and true haha just want to see if I’m missing an opportunity to use something better if it’s out there :)
Any favorite suggestions for a great rooftop + great food for a work happy hour for #50 people?
<!here>, we're kicking off this channel to be a dedicated space to support one another as event tech continues to rapidly evolve. This post on LinkedIn inspired me to ask - are you willing to share your event tech stack with the group here? It might help inspire other members to look into new solutions, or ask for your more specific advice or opinion on tech you currently use. As a reminder, we also have the #ai-for-events channel for those interested.
