Chapel Performance Space

Built in 1906, the Good Shepherd Center offers an intimate performance and rehearsal space within the restored 4th floor former chapel. Accessible by elevator and stairs, this beautiful two-story space features original stained glass, wood floors, columns, and recessed panel woodworking. A ramp next to the main entrance of the building provides wheelchair access. The room is approximately 59’ x 60’ and is divided by four large columns. Maximum audience capacity is 150 on Fridays and Saturdays, 85 on Monday - Thursday evenings. The Chapel is not available before 5 PM on weekdays or at any time on Sundays. We have a circa-1900 Knabe 9-foot concert grand piano. The Chapel may be rented on a per-event basis for concerts, dance, theater, literary readings, and other performing arts events or rehearsals. It is not available for non-arts events such as private parties, weddings, memorials, yoga classes, meditation workshops, religious services, fundraisers, public meetings, etc. This is a turnkey operation. We have no staff to assist you with any aspect of your event.
