About
Named after the former president of the university, Clarence B. Hilberry, the Hilberry Theatre is a 534-seat open stage theatre. The theatre was created to house a graduate repertory company, which opened its first season in 1964. Located on the lower level of the Hilberry Theatre, Underground at the Hilberry seats 110 and is home to a thrust stage designed to immerse the audience during each performance.
