Woodshed Smokehouse
The Woodshed Smokehouse is Chef Tim Love’s homage to all things grilled, roasted, and slow-cooked, featuring a daily rotating selection of beef, lamb, pork, cabrito, wild game, fish, and vegetables, all cooked over a variety of woods & fire sources.
Enjoy Chef Love’s signature food in our dining room, in the bar, or on our patio that sits right on the banks of the Trinity River. Dogs are welcome in our gravel area, and we even have a special menu just for man’s (and woman's) best friend! Thank you for your interest in the woodshed smokehouse! We have several private dining options available to you. Should we experience inclement weather on the day of your event, your private dining coordinator will work with you on a backup plan. We do however, have a private room located in the stockyards on the second floor of the white elephant saloon called the wild game room. This room can accommodate up to 125 seated guests and can be used as your contingency plan. We can also cater anywhere. Located on the bank of Fort Worth’s Trinity River, the 14,000 square foot, open-air venue has something for everyone, including fresh tortillas handmade daily, and Love’s celebrated camp bread served with “pitmaster fat” - a rich and meaty spread Love developed just for this restaurant. The Woodshed also offers a selection of tacos, including Bourbon and Coke Marinated Pork Shoulder with Pickled Chilies; Bulgogi Beef with Housemade Kimchi; and “Today’s Animal”, which will be whatever specialty cut Love chooses to offer on any given day.
