Springdale Station
Hosting Austin’s most memorable wedding, corporate events, nonprofit galas, and all other celebrations since 2016.
In the summer of 2016, Springdale Station opened to the public, as an event venue, a one of a kind space to host parties, receptions, fundraisers, weddings, and community events. The historic Pine Street Station was moved from downtown onto the site in July of 2016 and opened in January of 2018 as an additional event hall. This 20’s era building boasts exposed wood trusses, floor to ceiling windows, and rustic wood floors. The two buildings are married together with a beautiful glass enclosure. A visit to see it in person is a definite must. There is nothing quite like it in Austin.
You may choose any caterer or vendor you like. We do not charge a penalty or fee if you choose vendors who are not on our list. We also do not have a liquor license, which means that you can serve whatever alcohol you’d like to serve. All alcohol must be served by TABC licensed bartenders. Alcohol may not be sold on site, but can be given away as part of your event.
The entire facility at 979 Springdale accommodates 575 parking spaces. Various lots are positioned around the site and are shared with four other tenants, therefore the number of open spots varies. The most underused parking area which includes 350 spots is directly behind Friends and Allies Brewery, just steps away from the back entrance of Springdale Station. We highly recommend that event groups inform their guests of this parking area.
Springdale Station handles all of the deep cleaning including cleaning the floors, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. If you decide to go with our furniture package, then we handle all of the set up and breakdown of your furniture. You are responsible for removing all decor, personal items, and rented items at the end of the night as well as removing the trash. If you’d like us to handle trash removal, we charge a $150 fee.
We offer a 10% nonprofit discount for 501c3 organizations.
