UCLA Charles E. Young Grand Salon
The Charles E. Young Grand Salon has been used as a transformative event space that captures the elegant aesthetic of Tudor Gothic architecture. Perfect for receptions, intimate galas, etc.
First envisioned in 1929, Kerckhoff Hall was meant to be a building that would "house the life of the university". The Charles E. Young Grand Salon retains all of the grandeur and charm of the original Tudor Gothic architecture of Kerckhoff Hall. The Salon embodies the beauty of Kerckhoff's interior with stained glass and chandeliers. The unique ambience lends itself to the most special receptions, conferences, and speakers without sacrificing flexibility and technical support. The elevated loft offers a unique area for live music or balcony-style seating. The Grand Salon can facilitate a variety of events with a private terrace for up to 90 guests and the adjoining Kerckhoff Coffeehouse patio.
