Hotel Kong Arthur
The old apprentice home from 1882 looks like itself – apart from the hotel sign above the door. The proud building is at the end of a small paved side street slightly set back from the road that leads around the city's old lakes.
You can find peace and warmth in the cozy rooms, spa, and by the fireplace in the lobby. You can hold meetings in our well-appointed meeting facilities, and you can eat at three different, popular restaurants. With us, you get service that is so good that it resembles care and a Nordic breakfast that is so sustainable that it almost becomes rebellious. On this page, you can read more about the hotel's history, and you can read much more about the way we run the hotel. Within the historic walls, the staff is straightforward and the rooms a bit quirky. We see the oddities of the rooms as charming, and we know that many of our guests find it pleasant that the rooms are different. Some like that you can see the beams peeking out on the upper floors, while others prefer high ceilings. Different room types notwithstanding: One thing is certain, however. You will experience a particularly pleasant atmosphere and tranquility, regardless of where you are in the hotel. We have gone to great lengths to provide you with the best conditions for relaxing and recharging. The cozy rooms, the lobby, the spa, and the courtyards are therefore designed with a keen eye for your comfort. The energy of the hotel is modern, although there is a fire in the fireplace, herringbone parquet on the floors, paneling on the walls and a few antiques or two to match the name.
