About

The Stephen Sondheim Theatre, located at 124 West 43rd Street in New York, NY, is a wheelchair accessible venue that offers assistive listening. Originally known as the Henry Miller's Theatre, it was renovated and reopened by Roundabout in 1998 as a Broadway home for their production of Cabaret. After a construction accident forced its closure, Cabaret moved to Studio 54. In 2009, the theatre reopened as the first LEED-certified Broadway theatre and was renamed the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in honor of the legendary composer and lyricist's 80th birthday.
