La Salle Cortot is a 400-seat concert hall created in 1929 by the architect Auguste Perret. It is recognized in France and internationally for the quality of its acoustics and welcomes the biggest names in music to its stage classical since its creation at the request of the great pianist and teacher Alfred Cortot. 160 concerts are scheduled each year, notably the Midday and Half Concerts and the Musical Meetings: piano recitals, chamber music, masterclasses from the École Normale de Musique of Paris... It is also an ideal place for all non-amplified music.
