Paris Chamber Music Center

The Centre's ambition is to renew the perception of the concert, by transforming its form, playing on the accessibility of the works and the proximity of the performers, by focusing on the pleasure of the live performance. The programming offering is intended to be very accessible both in terms of the works and its price. It is a “sensitive” approach that is favored while guaranteeing the highest level of professional quality. Around these three keys, a real public community can be created: Everything is done to facilitate their loyalty, develop their taste, and encourage them to listen actively. They play the greatest pieces of the repertoire without a score, following a long preparation focusing on the composer and the historical and artistic context of the writing, in the service of the work—short concert shows, shows in the form of musical stories, exceptional conviviality and unusual communication tools. The same program is presented for several weeks every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., and offered at a very low price. A strong educational desire: through numerous initiatives, the Center makes programming and awareness-raising for all audiences inseparable. Educational and social commitment is an intrinsic part of the project. As the season progresses, the different programs promise their share of discoveries, whether it be artists or programs, in series concerts, or exceptional evenings.
