This newly renovated scenic rooftop is located along the water in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at 240 Kent Avenue.
The W Loft boasts elegant waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline. Floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the location keeps guests comfortable and still enjoy the view, no matter the season. The main event space opens to an outdoor patio that is perfect for guests that would like to catch a quick break from the action or mingle in the fresh air. Seating can be placed in outdoor section of the event space as an extension to the main room. The W Loft is equipped with four single-stall unisex restrooms. The Dumbo Loft does not provide in-house catering, linens, glassware, flatware, or decor. The event space must be cleaned and emptied of all garbage upon completion of the event, which is typically done by the caterer of your choice. There is a designated area for waste pick up at the end of the rental period. There is no fee for waste removal. 50% of the rental fee is due at signing.
Caterers that are new to location are required to complete a site visit before the event date. There is a kitchen prep area for the caterers set-up and storage adjacent to the main event space. Our kitchen prep space has the following equipment: a sink, a residential refrigerator/freezer unit, countertop, and electricity.
No built-in A/V
Based on the details provided at this moment, we do not fall under a restaurant / gym / public concert type of situation, especially for private social gatherings. This news did come out recently, and I am sure new details will emerge, but if they do not change the scope of the mandate for private social gatherings, nothing will change. We hope to hear more from the Mayor in the near future.

The W Loft includes the following furniture inventory: (90) white folding chairs, (10) 60" inch round tables. If in-house furniture is rented it is provided stacked within location at the start of your rental period with the client or caterer being responsible for the set up and breakdown of these items.
In most cases, all of your outside equipment will need to be delivered and picked up on the event day.

You are required to provide a certificate of insurance that covers the venue for general liability for $2M general aggregate / $1M per occurrence including property damage. Your policy should also include a Host Liquor Liability component if you intend to serve alcohol during your function.
