The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) is the first institution of its kind in the history of The Bahamas. It was established in 1996 to record, preserve, and historicize the narrative of the independent sovereign nation. The NAGB houses one of the largest collections of Bahamian art in the world and offers a wide range of exhibitions, public programs, and arts education workshops. Located in the historic Villa Doyle, the NAGB serves as a definitive place of refuge for art and artists from around the country.
