The Buffet, originally called Lantern Buffet opened in 1934 at 538 E. Ninth St. It has remained at its original location longer than any other bar in Tucson. The bar is part of the Iron horse Neighborhood one of Tucson’s oldest neighborhoods. The Buffet Bar is a longstanding dive bar with playful, graffitied walls. The Buffet crowd includes college students, lawyers, industry workers, 3rd shifters, locals, historians, business professionals, musicians, and champion pool players. A smorgasbord of eclectic, diverse, and trendy individuals that keep the Buffet Bar one of the best spots in town!
