Theatre of the Republic (Teatro de la República)
Inaugurated in 1968, the Theatre of the Republic is a historic site in the heart of Mexico City.
The Teatro de la República was inaugurated in 1968. It is located in the Tabacalera neighborhood, in the heart of the theater district of Mexico City and a few steps from many of the most emblematic venues in the country's capital. It has a capacity of 550 seats, divided into the ground floor and the mezzanine, as well as four equipped dressing rooms, wine cellars and a functional sweet shop. Its privileged location, close to multiple parking lots, metro and metrobus stations, and a few steps from two of the most emblematic avenues of our city -Insurgentes and Reforma- make it one of the most accessible and functional options for those looking for live entertainment.
