Restaurant Sagamité
The Sagamité Restaurant was established in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming a local, regional, and international clientele eager to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience.
Having traveled a part of the globe to showcase the richness of our culture and traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born out of the desire to promote our beautiful culture here in Wendake. The restaurant's name itself reflects our Wendat heritage, as Sagamité was at the heart of our diet - a hearty soup enriched with game meat and featuring the famous 'Three Sisters': squash, corn, and red beans, which we cultivated. Don't miss out on our signature dish, Yatista (fire), commonly known as the 'Potence' - it's worth the trip.
