Gelato Museum Carpigiani
The Carpigiani Gelato Museum is the only museum dedicated to the history of artisan gelato! Gelato classes, guided tours, special tasting events for gelato lovers only!
Inaugurated in September 2012, the Gelato Museum Carpigiani is a cultural center of excellence for understanding and studying the History, Culture, and Technology of Artisanal Gelato and the professionalism of those who have transformed it over the centuries. From its origins to today, it is an interactive journey on 3 levels of reading: the evolution of ice cream over time, the history of production technology and the places and ways of consuming ice cream. Inside the museum, on over 1000 square meters, there are 20 original machines, multimedia stations, 10,000 photographs and historical documents, precious period instruments and accessories, and unpublished video interviews. The Gelato Museum is located at the Carpigiani headquarters in Anzola dell'Emilia.
