Caveat is a 110-seat live show venue and bar on Clinton street in the lower east side. Find the street-level black door marked with a purple C just a couple doors south of Rizzo’s Pizza, and head down a flight of stairs. Behind the purple curtain you’ll discover a spacious 5,000 square foot cabaret-style speakeasy theater complete with a library nook, leather armchairs, playful scientific décor, and wood paneling. Our bar serves a large selection of craft beer, wine and bar snacks. Caveat is only open for ticketed shows and private events – We are not generally open as a bar only.
