Carroponte
Welcome to Carroponte, an open-air venue hosting musical acts, festival events, and shows.
In the territory of Sesto San Giovanni on the border with Milan, the Carroponte dominates with its structure the vast industrial archaeological park of the former Breda Siderurgica. The imposing metal structure, 20 m high, 30 m wide and 150 m long, built in the 1930s, remained in operation until the 1980s, left in a state of total abandonment for about twenty years, has been restored and transformed into the arena international concerts of the Milanese summers. Under these steel vaults illuminated by LED bars, great names on the Italian and international scene have performed over the last ten years. From Francesco De Gregori to Emis Killa, from Loredana Bertè to Nina Zilli, from Carmen Consoli to Club Dogo, from Caparezza to Fedez, from Baustelle to Paola Turci. But also Ludovico Einaudi, Niccolò Fabi, Nada, Afterhours, Daniele Silvestri, Stefano Bollani, Fabri Fibra… Not just Italians: The Offspring, Devendra Banhart, Sum 41, Counting Crows, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Gogol Bordello, Interpol, Limp Bizkit and many, many others, attracting thousands of spectators under the arches of the Carroponte every time. The Carroponte has now consolidated itself as the reference location for large outdoor events!
