Your Own Winery

Your Own Winery opened in February 2013 in Riverdale, NJ near Blu Ale House. In early 2019, we moved 3 miles north to 1572 Route 23, Bromat Plaza in Butler. Our wine-making starts with wine grape juice, not grapes. There are numerous shops around New Jersey where wine-making starts with grapes. In fairness, that is the complete wine-making experience, close to the actual wine-making process at commercial wineries. One downside of this process is wine must be made in a 60-gallon batch. This is to limit the risk of making wine from a batch of bad grapes. Another downside, because it’s done in a 60-gallon batch, the wine-making requires 9-12 months or more.
