Yeamans Hall is a private equity facility golf course with a 'Accompanied By Member' guest policy. The only rolling terrain in Charleston area. Open course with plenty of deep bunkering around greens. Course plays longer than yardage and demands a complete short game repertoire. Today, Yeamans Hall is recognized as one of golf’s treasures, having hosted the 1997 U.S. Women’s Senior Amateur, 1990 Carolinas Mid-Amateur and 1993 Carolinas-Virginias Match Play and, more recently, an annual college tournament, the (College of Charleston) Cougar Classic. On such occasions, Yeamans Hall has shown it still can frustrate and fascinate modern players. But that’s as close to “modern” as the club wants to get. Some things should never change.
