It all began in 1998 with an idea for Wine Country. . . in Horse Country. Equus Run Vineyards was born out of family, friendships and our local community in transforming a tobacco and cattle farm into a tourism destination. The winery produces wines of varietal character from the limestone soils and presents an entertainment schedule for all to enjoy. There are 38 acres to explore, sip and stroll. We invite you to “Visit the Vineyard, Taste the Experience”. We welcome you to the Bluegrass. Horses are always welcome.
