For nearly 30 years, Bluegrass Brewing Company has been a Louisville fixture, helping to pioneer the River City’s microbrewery and restaurant scene at a time when microbreweries weren’t the dime-a-dozen experience they (usually) are now. We believe that “beer is food,” but we also respect those who believe “food is food,” so we do both: From our award-winning local beers to unpretentiously delicious pub fare, the BBC is the perfect spot for a beer and a burger. Since 2010, we’ve been doing our thing at an historic bank. First built in 1837 - one of the oldest surviving buildings in Louisville, our renovations carefully preserved the character of the building’s Victorian Era construction materials. The resulting European-style pub atmosphere is ideal for hanging out, catching up with friends or work-friends, watching the game or grabbing some garlic parmesan fries on your way to the KFC Yum! Center.
