But it also means when you host an event at Athens Cotton Press, you'll become part of our extended family. Together, we'll bring your vision to life with passion and detail as if it were our own. In fact, your parties are our parties. They just happened to be filled with your friends. Built in the early 1900s, our 8,000 square-foot open space was was once home to the Atlantic Compress Company's cotton press. After decades of collecting dust and layers of graffiti, we're thrilled to reclaim this space for our community and celebrate its rich history. Although the room may be dressed in black-tie, the space's polished cement floors, exposed brick, and high ceilings are a nod to the building's historical roots.
