Live Music Hall

Live Music Hall is a nightclub and music venue located in Ehrenfeld, Cologne, Germany. Before it was used as an event hall, the building belonged to the defunct machine factory Heinz Strunck+Co, most recently Robert Bosch GmbH, the packaging machines division, which manufactured special machines for the chemical, cosmetics and food industries in Lichtstrasse. After production was gradually relocated abroad and to other German locations, the hall stood empty for a number of years. In 1990 the building was saved from final decay and converted into a multifunctional event hall. At that time, there were no medium-sized venues in Cologne, so the hall was able to establish itself quickly. In its current state, the hall can hold around 1200 to 1500 people, depending on the event.
