Dakota Studio’s desirable Fifth Avenue location, only one block from Union Square, makes us the perfect film and photography studio for clients who want to work in the heart of Manhattan and still keep their budget within reason. With two separate stages, Dakota can meet a multitude of production needs. Our larger West Stage features a fully functional shooting kitchen with a moveable camera facing stove, an open shooting bathroom set with a claw foot tub and a 20’x20’ two walled cyclorama. The East Stage is suitable for castings and smaller photography shoots and also includes an additional prep kitchen. Each studio can be rented independently or used together to easily accommodate larger TV and video production crews. Corporate clients love our space as an alternative to a pricey hotel meeting space for training seminars and corporate meetings. Owned and run by husband and wife team Matthew and Laura Sess since 1985, you can count on a level of service that only comes from 30 years of experience in making every production a success.
