Bar dos Arcos

One of the postcards of the capital of São Paulo hides, under its stage, a bar/portal inspired by the film “The Shining”, by Kubrick. Illuminated and labyrinthine balconies, surrounded by arches built over 100 years ago. Instead of cement, the bricks were laid with whale fat, crushed shells and sand from the beaches of Santos. It sounds scary, but it might not be. Between one corridor and another, it is possible to discover not only the mysteries that inhabit the former basement of the Municipal, but also signature drinks and classic cocktails, as well as a menu that makes vegans and carnists smile. Otherwise, don't worry: the bar is haunted. In times of darkness, we will be your light at the beginning, middle and end of the tunnel.
