From the minds behind ChurchKey, The Sovereign, The Grand Delancey & Bluejacket (among others), Shelter features many of the key elements that one would expect from an NRG beer bar: 50 taps (including 5 side-pull taps to perfectly dispense lagers), a temperature-controlled system, rigorous line cleaning, and extensive glassware. With near frenetic-rotation, Beverage Director Greg Engert will pour close to 1,000 different beers annually on draft. What makes Shelter different from NRG's other beer bars is its focus on low-abv selections – up to 50% of Shelter's list clocks in below 5% abv. Shelter also features 2 cask engines dispensing real ale and cider. The space at The Roost includes a beer garden, in addition to indoor seating within the food hall.
