We offer a traditional setting with a sushi bar, table service and optional tatami seating. As weather permits, we offer outdoor seating on the deck overlooking our tranquil Japanese garden with waterfall, designed and built by Masa Seko.
Started in 2003 by Takahiro Sato, Yosaku seeks to share Japanese culture through the foods of Japan. Yosaku is now owned and operated by Rattanak Tray, a sushi chef for over 30 years, who has been with Yosaku since the beginning. “Ram” is excited for the opportunity to showcase his skills and vision for Yosaku to new customers and longtime patrons! Yosaku boasts an extensive selection of fish and shellfish sourced locally and from all over the world, selecting only the best quality and often the most expensive cuts for its sushi and sashimi. In the kitchen, we serve many traditional foods of Japan including tempura, katsu-don, udon and soba noodles. Our 100% buckwheat soba noodles are made daily in-house using buckwheat grown in Aroostook county. We serve premium quality steak, pork and chicken as well as sushi quality salmon, shrimp and scallops, teppan-grilled to perfection for those who prefer their fish cooked. We carry an extensive selection of sake and Japanese whisky, in addition to our rotating, local craft beer on tap.
