The Marble Hall is the central room of the Upper Belvedere. It has two floors and is characterized by the red-brown marble, the many gildings and the large ceiling fresco. The frescoes are by Carlo Innocenzo Carlone, Marcantonio Chiarini and Gaetano Fanti. From here you have a breathtaking view over Vienna. On May 15, 1955, the Austrian State Treaty was signed in this hall by Leopold Figl and representatives of the four occupying powers Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union and the USA.
