Emma Metzler
A typical bistro. "Simple" in the good sense, with dishes for everyone and every woman, only with a significantly higher standard of service, craftsmanship and the quality of the products.
Young kitchen in the museum. Our restaurant Emma Metzler is located in the Frankfurt Museum of Applied Arts and offers visitors a spacious terrace overlooking the museum park. After working in Hamburg, Vienna and London, chef and owner Anton de Bruyn gained a lot of experience in international star cuisine and finally founded his own restaurant in the striking, white building designed by American star architect Richard Meyer. The interior with the small tables and wall mirrors, for which the designer Uwe Fischer and the architect Ben Jourdan have teamed up, takes up the bistro theme and translates it into a modern, contemporary style with fresh, colorful accents on the curtains and cupboards. The simple Frankfurt chairs and the robust, light maple tops on the tables were once typical of the inns in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. At Emma Metzler, they reflect the regional orientation of the gastronomy. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, Christmas party, baptism or business meal at Emma Metzler, we have the space and experience to organize your event. We are pleased that you are interested in an event with us, whether large or small, we would be happy to help and advise you on the selection that is right for you.
