Meet Dorothée M, Business Owner. The restaurant's owner Dorothée Mitrani, a graduate from UC Berkeley's Environment design program (1994), opened La Note in 1997. Her daily goal has been to raise her children all the while exposing them and the community to the convivial experience of sharing a wholesome fun and colorful meal reminiscent of her childhood. She won an award in excellence in 1998 for "outstanding storefront improvements" and rehabilitation of it's beautiful 1875 building.
