Columbus Historical Society

The Columbus Historical Society, founded in 1990, is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Columbus and Central Ohio. We work with other local historical organizations to promote activities, education, events, preservation, programs, and publications. Our mission is to educate the citizenry, preserve historical artifacts, and instill pride and respect for our cultures and ways of life. Through our programs, publications, and outreach, we aim to preserve Central Ohio's artifacts and stories for future generations.
