Myeongdong Kyoja Main Store
It was opened in 1976 as the main restaurant of Myeongdong Kyoja, and has been visited by numerous Koreans and foreigners alike.
Myeongdong Kyoja uses the highest-quality ingredients produced in Korea for everything on the menu. For all of our foods we use the freshest ingredients that are procured every day in the amounts necessary for the day. For sesame oil, we procure sesame, and from time to time, we roast and squeeze it. For our hot pepper, we only use peppers that were grown in our homeland Korea, and we crush it ourselves. For our salt, we store cheonilyeom (sun-dried salt) from Sinan-gun, Jeolla province for at least 3 years in order to eradicate brine before using it.
