Located in an old factory now filled with practice rooms for Heavy Metal bands, Restaurant Alouette is a collision of craft and creativity, a place of contrasts: beauty and grit, refinement and warmth. With an interior handcrafted by the wood workshop below the restaurant, Alouette takes a seasonal and local approach to its cuisine. Their 5-course set menu constantly rotates to reflect the short Danish seasons, as Alouette harnesses wood fire cooking to create a sustainable celebration of the methods and products of nearby farmers. Their hospitality style is that of a modern, Michelin version of Cheers – it’s a place where everybody knows your name.
