Alapar offers cuisine inspired by the classic izakayas of Japan, known in Spain as bodegas, accentuating Mediterranean cuisine and its products.
Alapar was born from the union of two people who, after years of training in some of the best restaurants in Barcelona, decided to create their own path. Jaume Marambio and Vicky Maccarone have known each other for 10 years, working near Girona. From that moment they begin to grow “at the same time”, each in their own area. Jaume got his start in the kitchen of the St. Rémy restaurant and from there he has moved on to the best kitchens in Barcelona, such as Enjoy, Tickets or Pakta , from the ElBarri group. Vicky , after completing her studies, acquires confidence and leadership as a director at Hoja Santa and Niño Viejo , from the ElBarri group. After years of training in large restaurants, Jaume and Vicky are committed to a personal project that they have been dreaming of for years and that today, finally, becomes a reality.
