Great classics of French cuisine, to taste in a felt art deco, décor designed by the tandem Necchi Architecture, such is Alfred’s good credo. This new brewery named desire or lunch and dinner in the heart of Paris.
Great classics of French cuisine, twisted by chef Alexia Duchêne, to be enjoyed in a cozy Art Deco decor created by the Necchi Architecture duo, such is Alfred's good credo. This new brasserie named Desire where to have lunch and dinner in the heart of Paris this fall. Already at the helm of Le Camondo restaurant, located a stone's throw from Parc Monceau, Basile and Martin Beaupère, joined by Theodore (ex Monsieur Bleu) and Casimir Mahoudeau (with great bistro knowledge), have just inaugurated Alfred in Paris. Located rue du Mont-Thabor, an elegant maze that never stops winning beautiful culinary addresses, the place owes its name to its illustrious neighbor, the writer Alfred de Musset. Dressed in three shades of beige (ranging from the palest to the sunnier shades on the ceiling), the place brings together earthy-coloured velvet benches, colored panels skillfully patinated by Pauline Leyravaud, lacquered walls, a Belgian stone floor for the bar, an ocher carpet for the lounge areas, and a black and white mosaic checkerboard for the basement areas. But also antique chairs, in the 90s line, which have been re-lacquered for the occasion. A timeless and elegant space, where to sit down regardless of the season.
