Daroco Trattoria
Daroco exalts the solar generosity of Italian cuisine with the offbeat chic Parisian style.
In 2017, Alexandre Giesbert and Julien Ross set up their Italian restaurant with extraordinary dimensions in the former Jean-Paul Gaultier boutique. Located rue Vivienne, at the beginning of the Galerie Vivienne, opposite the Bibliothèque de France, and a stone's throw from the Place de la Bourse and the Palais Brongniart, DAROCO attracts thanks to a well-established equation: delicious dishes, well-made liquids, atmosphere bubbling and oversized decor. The ideal table for all the good times in life: a dinner with friends, a professional lunch or a large table with the whole family on the weekend, always supported by attentive service. Installed in the former sewing workshops of Jean-Paul Gaultier, DAROCO Bourse is a unique design, thought up by architects Olivier Delannoy and Francesca Errico, winner of the Fooding prize for "Best decor" in 2017. The mirror ceiling reflects the green marble tables, the terrazzo floor, the masterful concrete columns, the vegetation, and, the highlight of the show: the open kitchen where the pizza makers prepare well-rolled pizzas in the purest Neapolitan tradition.
