Lonesome Rose is an all-day bar and restaurant specializing in Tex-Mex-inspired menus. We focus on basics done beautifully; absolutely essential breakfast tacos, the best margaritas around, and a the cheesy, beefy quesorito you didn’t know you needed. Originally opening in Logan Square in 2017, the restaurant expanded to Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood in 2023. Known for its plant and light-filled open design, Lonesome Rose was a finalist for the James Beard Foundation Awards’ Outstanding Design Award (76 seats and over) in 2019, and has been a Michelin Bib Gourmand every year running.
