About
Located in the music-centric neighborhood of Normal Heights, the historic building that was once a movie hub, turned music venue has been restored and is heading back to its roots. From live entertainment to elevated movie nights and private events, we like to think of the theater more as a gathering spot for the neighborhood. With 6,100 square feet of open space, the theater is available for any creative ideas that come to mind! The famous marquee that still adorns the building’s façade is a nod to the historic bones – providing a sense of nostalgia when staring up at the lights…or down at the original terrazzo, the perfect historic touch for any occasion.

When you host your event at Adams Ave Theater, you get the best of both worlds. Bar Verbena, our cocktail catering company, offers cocktails, locally crafted beers and wines, highly trained bartenders, and all bar supplies. In addition to our cocktails, you are welcome to bring in three spirits of your choice. Your Adams Ave Theater coordinator will help you choose a bar package that fits the needs of your event.
