Grasso, one name, 5 generations, a unique style of pizza We have traces of a Grasso pizzaiolo already in 1850. But it was in 1916 that the family took off. Salvatore Grasso opened this year the Pizzeria Gorizia in the Vomero district of Naples, the first Pizzeria in this part of the city, it is with its unique style of pizza that it entered into legend: saddened to see customers leave the edges in the plate he decided to offer a smaller pizza with larger edges.
