Located in the ‘50’s era building that previously housed the “Ole Charleston Forge” on Charleston’s upper peninsula, owners John Kenney and Karalee Fallert aimed to maintain the building’s unique industrial character as they developed The Royal American. Once known as the premier local source for commercial iron work in Charleston, the bar/restaurant feels worn in and comfortable, and takes a friendly, but no-nonsense approach to everything they do.
