When Chef Salmassi opened Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano in 2009, at 6455 South Fry Road, he offered no menu. The place was small enough to make custom dishes for every table. As the clientele grew, he introduced a chalkboard daily selections, and later a rotating list of dishes on the regular menu. These are not “specials,” he insists, merely suggestions. Da Vinci’s limited size and hours mean that it is only able to serve a limited amount of guests. We Highly Recommend Reservation due to the size and popularity of the place. Keeping it small, maintains the quality. The restaurant does not have big walk-in freezers or cooler. Instead, We visit markets every day to shop for fresh produce, seafood, and meat.
