Quaglino's
Upmarket European brasserie and seafood specialist, with live acts that draw a dressed-up clientele.
Bursting with iconic heritage, Quaglino’s is hidden in the heart of St James’s and is the ideal place to indulge in contemporary European food, legendary cocktails, and live music. Since its inception by Giovanni Quaglino in 1929 to its reinvention by Conran in 1993, right up to the present day, the restaurant plays an integral part in London’s social history and has always been out to impress. Having undergone a full-scale, multi-million-pound renovation at the hands of Russell Sage Studio in 2014, the interiors have been brought right up to date, whilst keeping the venue’s signature Art Deco flourishes and that sweeping staircase at the heart of the design. The menu, designed by Executive Chef Jack Smith, is a perfect canon of European classics, all made using the highest quality British ingredients. The decadent dishes are available at lunch, dinner, and then on into the night alongside a vast selection of wines and signature cocktails. Evenings at Quaglino’s are complete with live entertainment seven nights a week, maintaining the venue’s position as one of St James’ most spectacular dining destinations. A favorite of many celebrities and royal guests, some of the restaurant’s most famous visitors include The Queen in 1956 and Princess Margaret – who enjoyed a permanently reserved table.
