Vedge is a Vegetable Restaurant by James Beard-nominated Chefs Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby, Opened in 2011, Vedge has been offering a modern, plant based dining experience inspired by local, seasonal vegetables and global flavors. Housed in the historic Tiger Building in Center City Philadelphia, the elegant brownstone home has been an intimate setting for Vedge’s inventive vegetable cooking. Vedge’s Bar, one of the early pioneers in the natural wine movement, also features craft beers and an ever changing seasonal cocktail list, all selected to compliment the the dinner and dessert menus. Vedge has proudly welcomed guests from all over the world as well as a hometown core of regulars who have been loyally coming through the restaurant’s doors for the last 25 years. And while there are standby classics on the menu, the menu continues to evolve to celebrate new ingredients, flavors and techniques. In 2018 Vedge was named one of Food and Wines 40 most important restaurants of the last 40 years.
