Soban translates to a low dining table that is traditionally used in Korea without chairs for a more communal and intimate dining experience. Since a soban table is so etched into Korean culture, we want to ensure that our restaurant provides the same feelings of warmth, authenticity and camaraderie that a traditional soban table brings. Our kitchen is led by Jennifer Pak, whose work can speak for itself. Jennifer is a, as he introduced Korean food for the first time at the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas. Under Chef Park’s tenure at Soban, the restaurant was named in the “101 Best Restaurants” list made by the late Pulitzer Prize winning critic, Jonathan Gold. Soban has also been recommended by a Michelin Guide for Los Angeles restaurants in 2019 under Chef Park’s leadership.
