Hachidori (ハチドリ) translates to a hummingbird, represented in Japanese culture as a symbol of the enjoyment of life and its pleasures. Inspired by Tokyo’s exciting dining scene, Hachidori is a Japanese eatery with bold flavors, dim lights, and throwback hits meant to transport us. We reinterpret traditional Japanese cuisine with the promise of delivering innovative recipes, quality ingredients, and exceptional hospitality. We focus on Japanese soul food and street fair staples including ramen, donburi, gyozas, temaki, and bao buns, paired with ice-cold beer, wine, and sake. We focus on a select few dishes, following the Japanese notion that concentrating on fewer things results in a better performance. From sourcing quality ingredients and flavors to the presentations, every detail works in synergy to create an experience.
