Sundance Mountain Resort Screening Room
The Sundance Screening Room was built in 1987 as a place to showcase the work of the Sundance Institute Lab and the Sundance Film Festival.
The 1,100 square-foot lobby features stone floors, a fireplace and sliding glass doors that open onto a lawn overlooking the waterfall and pond. The 144-seat state-of-the-art theater can easily be incorporated into events or a private movie night. Originally built as a venue for up-and-coming filmmakers to show their work, the Sundance Resort’s Screening Room is a state-of-the-art theater. Home of the Sundance Resort’s Redford Film Series, the theater also serves as a venue for the Sundance Film Festival every January. The lobby features sliding barn-style glass doors that open onto a beautiful side lawn and accommodates groups for sit-down meals.
